project management, training & facilitation
You have a great business plan and you understand how you are going to manage your reputation and your brand to achieve your goals. All you need to do now is to get the job done.
managing projects
In many ways delivering a successful project is comparatively simple. You need a good plan, a clear understanding of the business case and the appropriate resources. You also need a good project manager. A good project manager will be able to communicate effectively with everyone involved in the process, briefing work managers, updating senior decision makers and giving you the confidence that the project will be delivered on time.
Communication projects can be particularly complex because of the wide range of skills and the subjective nature of many of the issues involved. That’s why it is best to enagage a project manager with a strong background in managing a wide range of communcations projects and delivering on time to customer expectation.
If you have someone like that in your organisation, excellent.
If not, call me.
training and facilitation
Things are going to have to change in your organisation. Staff and volunteers are going to have to change their role and develop their skills. This has always been the case but the advent of new technologies and the change in culture that social media is bringing means that many more people are having to take on some communications responsibility.
They need appropriately structured training based on their current level of knowledge, tailored to their organisation and responsive to their needs and concerns.
It is not appropriate to teach communication skills via powerpoint presentations. It doesn’t work. You need practical and facilitative learning sessions.
You need a trainer who has the technical background to be able to inspire and educate a wide range of people and to plug the gaps in their knowledge. You need a trainer trained and experienced in group facilitation collaborative learning.
If you don’t have anyone like that in your organisation then call me.
